The Oppo Watch S was introduced in China on Thursday during the technology company's event in October 2025. Alongside this smartwatch, the brand also presented its new top-of-the-line smartphones and tablet, named Oppo Find X9, Find X9 Pro, and Pad 5. This latest smartwatch offers numerous health monitoring capabilities. It comes with a 16-channel SpO2 monitor, an ECG monitor, and an eight-channel heart rate sensor. Additionally, it can check the temperature of the user’s arm. The watch features a round face, which includes a touchscreen. The screen shines at a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The price of the Oppo Watch S is set at CNY 1,299 (approximately Rs. 16,000) for the Rhythm Silver and Racing Black models. There is also a Vibrant Green Field version that costs CNY 1,499 (around Rs. 18,500). This smartwatch will be available for purchase starting October 22 at the company’s online shop in China. The Vibrant Green Field version will come with a fabric strap, whereas the other two colors will include rubber straps.

The Oppo Watch S features a 1.46-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 464x464, a pixel density of 317 ppi, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. It has a circular stainless steel body with a crown and a navigation button located on the right side. It operates on ColorOS Watch 7.1 straight out of the box. The device is powered by a BES2800BP processor, combined with 4GB EMMC storage. It also has an eight-channel optical heart rate monitor, a 16-channel optical pulse oximeter monitor, an ECG monitor, and a wrist temperature sensor. The Oppo Watch S allows users to monitor sleep, assess snoring during sleep, measure SpO2 levels while sleeping, score sleep quality, and keep track of the breathing rate during sleep. Other health features include heart rate tracking, fall alerts, menstrual tracking, and daily activity reminders.

The smartwatch provides over 100 sports modes, including specific modes for cycling, running, swimming, walking, and rowing. The Oppo Watch S also includes AI sports coaching features.

For connectivity, the Oppo Watch S is compatible with Bluetooth 5.2, BeiDou, dual-band L1 + L5 GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, NFC, and OZSS. It works with devices that run on Android 10 and newer or iOS 14 and above. The sensors built into the watch comprise an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a geomagnetic sensor, an air pressure sensor, and an ambient light sensor. It is equipped with a 339mAh battery, which is said to last for up to 10 days. However, with regular use, it can last about seven days, and if the always-on display feature is activated, it will last four days. The smartwatch can fully charge from 0 to 100 percent in around 90 minutes. Oppo claims that charging for just 10 minutes will provide enough power for the Watch S to function for up to 24 hours. The Oppo Watch S is also rated 5ATM + IP68 for dust and water resistance. Its dimensions are 44.98x44.98x8.9mm, and it weighs around 35g without the strap.
